My Thoughts
Before I enlighten you with the depths of my thoughts regarding Requiem, let me tell you this. If you haven't read this series, frickin'
Oh Requiem! It is different just like the other books Delirium and Pandemonium. This time, the chapters are told from the viewpoints of Lena and Hana. A great change! I particularly enjoyed reading Hana's chapter. I actually didn't think I would after her intentions being revealed in the short story novella Hana but at the end all was well. She made more discoveries and also lots of things associated with the cure so the action was much more entertaining to read.
Don't get me wrong, I loved reading Lena's chapters too. Lena, along with her companions on a mission with the invalids fighting for whats right. And, come on! I was itching to know what was going to happen in this love triangle.
Both the love interests I adore - Jullian and Alex. Though, my heart is set on Alex . Even though we see a different side to him in this book but you can tell he does still care about Lena. We see his yearn of protection. Awww I am forever and will be Team Alex. I always tend to cheer on the guy that is introduced first! But he's so the better choice. Saying that there's this other girl that's set her eyes on Alex too. I know! Boo hoo, her names Coral and yes, I do not like her.
Ending? Would you even call that an ending? I was there like, hoooooold on what just happened? I'm talking in relation the love triangle. I have so many feelings! Cause Lauren Oliver does just what she does best, expect the unexpected and prepare to be left hanging! I don't care anyways cause I just have way too much love for this series! And now lets cry, cause now its come to an end!

My Thoughts
Let me just start with expressing my love for Divergent. It was love you guys! Like, love at first
I dived into Insurgent as soon as I got my copy. We are brought right where Divergent left off, thankfully something I can work with. Tris, Four, Caleb, Peter and Marcus now reside at the Amity faction having survived from the dreadful attacks by the Erudite. There's more where that action came from too, a lot more is brought into this addition.
Especially Tris! Talk about character development. We see so much more from her, what she can do and what she's capable of. I love everything about her. With the death of Will, she's been emotianally unstable and it's also something that stays with her and I think makes her a whole lot more stronger too. Then there's Tris and Four.
I am just going to dive into the deep end and tell you what we see less them. How I just love this couple. They have just have to be one of the cutest and my most favourite. But Awrhh. Yes I know people, I hear your pain and feel your despair. BUT, there's nothing to fear. I say this because, we do however get moments with Tris and Four. REAL moments. And, I can happily tick off intensity, passion and hot kissing right off the list. They are all there! Their relationship is real too meaning that it's not all lovey dovey and gushy gushy. They have bumps in the road and even though its all quite unnerving, it's what completes their relationship.
FOUR. Yes am indeed going to take up some time gushing and fan girgling on everything Four. What can I say about this guy. I am undeniably and irrevocably in love with him. We get a good glimpse of our Four. So much more is revealed, his flaws his secrets. God, I just love him. His intrigue, his kindness, his sudden angst yet undeniable care towards Tris, makes him Four. And dude, he is so damn SMART. I swear, you'll see why his actions really amaze me. Four's Erudite side of him has be a very dominating factor. Oh I just have so much love for this guy.
I am actually a bit glad that we're not with Tris and Four all of the time. Yes you heard me correctly. Meaning that, this isn't a YA book that predominantly revolves around the romance aspect of things. Hey, the romance is what gives it that spark, but then we're left with the plot, the factions, the other characters, I'm talking about the BIG picture that brings it to life you know. That makes Divergent, DIVERGENT that makes Insurgent INSURGENT.
So we're brought with the bigger picture. The ACTION. It is just so so much better, so much full of energy and suspense. It's safe to say that Roth has done us justice. We are brought with whole sheebang, the good the bad and a heart stopping ending as we expected. However, what we're left with is truly breathtaking.

My Thoughts
Crossed was much better than I expected. I wasn't planning on reading it at first as I enjoyed reading Matched but not as much. With Crossed, it's a whole new story. I really enjoyed reading it. Condie really uped her game, giving us with something fresh, interesting and engaging.
We're at where Macthed left off. With Cassia journeying to the outer provinces whilst Ky is taken by the society. As you can expect, the chapters are alternated between Cassia and Ky. With them both craving for each others presence alongside them and going through adventures of their own. Oh, I just really really liked it.
We get to see a lot more from Ky. When reading Matched I never really connected much with Ky and as a character, I never did like him much. I don't know. He came off quite weird? Well, to me anyways. Though, in Crossed my views changed as we get to see more of him and his feelings as well.
I didn't think Ky was right for Cassia. I was always with Xander through Matched anyways. But, here's the thing. In Crossed, we get to see more of Xander. Which leads to my other point in which, can Xander be trusted? He's quite different now and I don't know what to make of his actions.
Now, I'm torn between the two. Pretty much how Cassia is at the moment. In one prospect, I do blame her, she chooses Ky but then she's confused with everything that's happened with Xander. Good luck on that one!
In the bigger picture, a lot does happens in Crossed. New characters are introduced as to be expected and the events are really developing. What I like best. Ohh now I can't wait to read Reached!

My Thoughts
Basically. The Other Life is my perfect cup of tea. It had me engaged, from the very first page. No doubt about it. It's about zombies and it's a dystopian. Both of which I love a lot. Okay zombies not so much, they’re all crinkly and ugly but usually zombies make good stories. The Other Life is an example of a good story. Nope, that’s not the only word though. Just good is really underrated. It was so so so so so GOOD! (I apologise for my great lack in vocabulary!)
The Other Life was one of those books in which I loved just by reading a few pages. And its mainly because of the writing. I love her writing style. It’s pretty much similar to Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. There were those same feelings of confinement, claustrophobia and freedom. The counting of days, hours, minutes and even seconds of how much time really has passed by constantly driven by numbers. How much these figures can really get to you.
Sherry and her family have been confined to their homes for such a long time. They can go out into the open, but not if they’d want to risk their lives. Getting killed or eaten by zombies? Not so much. But what happens when you run out of food? Would you rather starve to death or go out and try to find something to eat and also risk getting killed?
Sherry is one determined girl. She cares about her family and she really does her best to pry them out of harms way. Even with her Father, although she's very stubborn however, she's stubborn in the right choices so that she can do the right things. When does, enter Joshua. Joshua is cool. He's got that fierce determination and he's pretty hot too ;) ...then the story really kicks in.
I loved reading this. I loved reading it a lot. You've got suspense. Action. Zombies. ROMANCE. What else do you need? Dig right in!

My Thoughts
Gemma Malley! I've been a big fan of her books right after I devoured her The Declaration trilogy. I LOVED reading them. Her writing had a awe to it that I didn't see before. When I received The Killables I didn't take much notice of it but not until I saw Gemma Malley printed on the cover. I instantly left everything I was doing and jumped to the chance of reading. I had serious high expectations.
Horray for another dystopian novel. I just can't get enough of them. In The Killables we're introduced to a society where 'evil' ceases to exist and people are marked in regards to how 'good' they are. How cool does that sound.
Evie is not to bad either. I liked her character a lot but please excuse me as I have to first rush into what I didn't like associated with her. Raffy. Let me tell you about Raffy.Here's the thing. Raffy doesn't deserve what her has. He acts like a child that has no understanding, no care and no responsibility. He makes rash decisions without a thought about the consequences. I mean, he's just SO frickin selfish I feel like being mean to him! Okay so that's the worst I can think of but yeah, I hope I've established how much I dislike him.
I don't think I would have disliked him as much as I do if it wasn't for William. William is Raffy's brother. And he is everything that Raffy is not. He has understanding, he does care and he sure as hell is responsible. The number of things he has done, the amount he has sacrificed is just amazing. William deserves so much more and I love all these things about him. And for once, I love a guy character mainly because of what he is, not how he looks like. (Not that he's not good looking. I'm sure he is!)
Okay. So on to the story! A lot of secrets are revealed. Although, it's something good to help them all, a secret was kept a secret for a reason so it's only giving that something bad would string along. These revelations help Evie and Raffy make sense of the world they live in and help them decide what on earth to do next. It's a great atmosphere full of so much drive.
How exciting! And, as you can tell The Killables met my expectations, if not, then further. My only wish now is that William gets. what. he. WANTS!!!! As you can tell, I get very emotional when I'm talking about William. I will only be at rest until I read the next book. I need it.

My Thoughts
Oh crap. Those were the words when I finished Pandemonium. Because boy was that finish a right humdinger. There's no doubt that I devoured this book. At first, I was quite reluctant to pick it up being afraid with how everything would continue after Deliriums frustrating end. I was very wrong to do that. Pandemonium is unmistakeably amazing with such excitement and anguish that you'd be incredibly impatient to finish it off.
When I started Pandemonium, I was quite confused yet very intrigued with how Oliver fashioned the chapters. The chapters form a sequence of 'Now' and 'Then'. It was difficult to get at a a grip of at first, well for me anyway. I loved the new style though, especially as we see the difference in Lena's character.
From Delirium, Lena has always been strong but now in Pandemonium we see a new side to her. It's no surprise with what she had just been through. I was quite frustrated with her at the beginning though as the story progressed we get to see exactly how she's feeling and dealing with her stuff.
Delirium was more focused on the 'love' element of things, here in Pandemonium it's more about survival, hope and Alex. ALEX! Where art tho Romeo? I am dying and simply itching to go into detail about Alex, what with the ending to Delirium and all but I just can't. That is one major spoiler. I can't ruin it for you all. You'll thank me later. (you so will not!)
Don't you guys worry however. There is plenty of heat in Pandemonium. The romance is not as good as Delirium for me, and you'll instantly know the reason why when you read Pandemonium. I'm not going to lie however. Those scenes still had me ultimately engaged ;D What? It's Lauren Oliver we're talking about. This lady's romantic writing is top notch!
Well, all of Pandemonium is engaging. I so loved it. Did I love the ending you ask? Erm. All I can say regarding that is Lauren Oliver has done it again. She left me aghast and torn between my feelings of should I have read Pandemonium now?

My Thoughts
After reading Elsewhere, I could read every other book by Zevin. So, as soon as I heard about All These Things I've Done, I knew I had to have it. Luckily, I received it for review and I was simply overjoyed! And, do you know what? I was more pleased after reading All these things I've done as I LOVED it!
Anya Balanchine is an orphan. Her parents were murdered and all that's left for her is caring for her brother and sister. Anya's family then becomes involved in a an illegal chocolate business making things go from good to worst. So, when a chocolate poisoning comes at large, Anya is not in a good light. With these accusations, nothing gets better when she finds herself falling in love that which is forbidden.
Woah. Chocolate is illegal? What a great plot. And not only that, there are other twists and turns along the way. I couldn't stop reading! Even though, I didn't get why Chocolate was illegal. But, it really didn't matter as much as the star-crossed romance brings a great spin to the story.
The romance was great. It was a gradual build up so nothing was overdone. Not the typical love at first sight thing either. I loved reading every single moment. Things get even better when we discover that their love is forbidden.
All these things I've done is one promising story. Zevin has brought us a great plot and characters driven with utter suspense. I'm at the edge of my seat and I can't wait to see where this series leads!

My Thoughts
The moment I picked this book I was intrigued. I fell in love with the cover and more importantly the synopsis lured me in. I can't begin to explain how much I loved this book but I can say one thing with complete certainty, this debut novel is fantastic.
When Saba's brother, Lugh gets taken away, she makes it her mission and priority to go rescue him. However, on her journey, she gets kidnapped and put to work as a cage fighter. Here, she meets Jack, another cage fighter, and finds herself drawn to him immediately. Though, in that instant she discovers how conceited he is. Eventually, Saba manages to escape but without leaving Jack.
The first few pages of Blood Red Road was without doubt one of the main reasons why I carried on reading. I was awed with Young's writing. I even thought that the touch of dialect will have me running but that was presented perfectly as well. I could not envision it any other way.
Saba is one lovable character. I love her determination and spirit. But she has her flaws. As much as she loves Lugh, she hates her sister. I didn't connect with her as much for this reason. She isn't exactly a great person but this is something she works on. And so, she grew on me. Also, a tiny part of me likes her because of Jack.
Jack is cocky but perfect. Yes I love him. He may be arrogant but Saba does feel something for him. She cannot understand this however. She loves him but hates him all the same. They have a pretty funny relationship going on and you can't help but smile whenever they're together.
If you haven't read Blood Red Road, what are you waiting for? You sure as hell are missing an amazing adventure.

My Thoughts
WOW. MockingJay was just EPIC! Seriously, it's so amazingly emotional and just as powerful. There are so many parts that I love and just as much hate about MockingJay.This is the kind of book that will devour your mind once you've read the final pages leaving you speechless and craving for more.
In this final installment of MockingJay, it starts with President Snow declaring war on all the districts. This leaves Katniss's district, District 12 demolished. Katniss is then left hopeless so she finds herself becoming the MockingJay in District 13 in order to give the districts hope and help fight the war against President Snow. As war breaks out Katniss has to all she can to protect her friends and family and rescue Petta from the grasps of the Capitol.
Katniss is brought out in ways you wouldn't think possible. She has changed psychologically and emotionally. It's disturbing yet overwhelming in the depths in which she posessed. Though, she survived everything she went through! That's the Katniss we all know. A true heroine. Needless to say, my heart aches even more for Peeta... Everything that he had to go through and endure was heartbreaking. Team Peeta ♥
MockingJay is extremely action packed. Something is always going on. It is definitely a page turner. The ending didn't leave me disappointed nevertheless I'm saddened to everything to come to an end. It left me feel like I'd lost something worth keeping. I truly love this book. Hell, I LOVE this series.
Collins has done an amazing job on The Hunger Games series. She always kept me guessing. I just wish however there was more moments of happiness for the characters that I love so much especially more scenes with Peeta and Katniss. But, I really cannot wait for the movie to come out now, 2012 is a really long way away! Damn! :D

My Thoughts
Catching Fire is without doubt an unforgettable ride. It’s even better and bigger than I had hoped it too be. It’s fiery, malevolent and exasperatingly amazing! Collins has sure got a captivating writing style. I was utterly hooked.
Katniss Everdeen. The best heroine ever. I love her! What I love the most is that we get to see a whole new side to her. Her hurt, worry and dismay when she finds out her loved ones are going to have to go to the games.
Everything is in a sort of muddle with her relationship with Peeta and Gale. It doesn’t get much better. From the Hunger Games, I’ve stuck by Peeta. Team Peeta! I am firm on my feet for Katniss to choose Peeta although he was been distant. I don’t blame him though. As for Gale, he has been giving Katniss the cold shoulder after witnessing Peeta’s ‘star crossed’ lovers role. Honestly, who cares? It’s Peeta she needs anyways. Gotta love him!
The cliff-hanger is simply maddening. It’s that immense! But I really love this series. So if you haven’t read this series what are in heavens are you waiting for? Go buy a copy as there sure is a whole lotta EPIC stuff. I just can’t get enough. Mocking Jay, here I come!

My Thoughts
Another fab dystopian book! I am so loving dystopians now. And WOW, Delirium sure was something. I loved reading each and every word. I got consumed within Lena's world, waiting and wondering what will happen next.
Lena, a young seventeen year old girl has simply ninety-five days until she gets diagnosed from the disease of amor deliria nervosa. In other words, until she gets cured from 'love' which is perceived to be a disease. And Lena, cannot wait until she does.
Lena is one great character. She is so amazing and wonderful. Okay, there were times where I just wanted to wake her up to reality so she would realise how ridiculous she sounds sometimes, But I guess that's what Oliver wants us readers to feel- A sense of urgency, thrill and irritation.
Just a few months before her operation Lena meets the down-to-earth, and oh-so-charming, Alex! And so, it's so understandable as to why Lena fell in love with a guy like him. He's funny, alluring, understanding and everything every girl would wish for!
Delirium is an awesome roller coaster of events and emotions making you want it to never end. With that killer of an ending it is truly an unforgettable read! Pandemonium, the next book in the trilogy, is one I'm greatly anticipating!

My Thoughts:
Divergent is an unforgetabble read. It's most definetly an outastanding debut. I was immediatley consumed into it reading on until I completled it. I could not put it down. I need to read the next one now!
I am really starting to love Dystopian books now. In Divergent, it revolves around a society that is dived into fractions that are based on various virtues- Honesty, Braveness, Intelligence, Peace and Selfishness. At the age of 16, people get to choose which fraction they belong to.
Tris, the protagonist is a strong character. I instantly loved her. She’s a divergent and that’s not a good thing at all. So then she chooses to enter the Dauntless and faces many trials and tribulations, Each time it gets better and better.
I personally loved it when Tris had those private tests. You see, they were just full of adventure and life. I has this urging feeling wondering how she’s gunna get though each and every one. It was totally enjoyable to read.
Four. Tobias. Tobias. Four.
Ahhhhhh! What can I say I LOVE Tobias (familiarly known as Four). I think I prefer Tobias better, sounds way hotter ;) Roth doesn’t even put much description into Tobias, but hey everything he does just spells out h-o-t-n-e-s-s. The way she writes is simply amazing!
I never would have thought Tris and Tobias would get together. So unpredictable and you just have to love that. And their moments are ones that you cherish. Yes you got it. It’s the parts where when you finish book, you just have to go back and re-read them!
Oh and the ending! I was flabbergasted! Yes, shocked same thing. It was a hell of an awesome book. You see words cannot describe how awesome this book is like totally way beyond beyond. I LOVED IT! OBVIOUSLY, the next book, Insurgent is one to pine for! :D

At first when I heard about The Hunger Games, I didn’t think that it would be a book that I would be interested in. I usually read books that dominantly revolve around romance. However, as I started reading the first few pages in the book, I instantly got absorbed into Katniss's world.
I absolutely love Katniss's character. The love for her sister Prim is beautifully conveyed as she takes her place in The Hunger Games. Katniss is brave, strong and a definite kick ass heroine.
I got really drawn to Gale's personality, his character and well everything about him. His relationship with Katniss is affectionate but not deep really showing how strong their friendship is. I remember really wanting his name to be picked out for the Hunger games so he can support Katniss. Though they're friends, I always thought it would eventually grow into something else and boy was I wrong.
From the time Katniss mentioned Peeta I should have know really (especially with the 'bread incident') that something or the other will happen between them. I was quite dismayed knowing Gale was out the picture but from the time his name was picked for The Hunger Games and as the pages flew by, I came to the conclusion that I love Peeta. He's funny, supportive and always there for Katniss.
I an not a big fan for action as most of their time it is boring but this type of action is nothing but interesting and mind blowing. The ending is very dramatic as Peeta comes to know Katniss's true feeling leaving her back home with her family.
This book is not something you read once or simply pick up from the library, it's a book that has gotta be on your bookshelf! The Hunger Games is written to perfection. Seriously, I don't believe there's any flaws. Immensely powerful and utterly consuming, this is a book that will definitely get you reading!

My Thoughts
At first, I really wanted to read Matched. Everyone was talking about it and so it had me wondering how it was going to be. It was then I read a review on it which completely put me off. Seeing I received a review copy, I had to read it one day or another... and do you no what? I am so GLAD I picked up this book.
Matched is a book filled with individuality. With its mesmerizing cover, luring blurb and words filled with such simplicity, I truly got engaged into Matched. It was nothing I like I ever had read.
The first few chapters were a bit confusing. Seeing as though it was hard to understand what The Society really was without an explanation. Though as the story goes on I gained understanding of what it is all about.
I love all the names that Ally used in this book, Xander, Ky and Cassie. Cassie is a very explicit character. The main thing I really liked about her was the loving relationship between herself and her brother. She’s very caring but quite dull.
I always looked forward to the parts with Ky and Cassia. Ky is just great. Xander also. I love Xander's personality and everything about it him.
The last few chapters simply have the WOW effect. I craved to know what was going to and how the book will come to an end... and when I did I discovered that there’s another book after it. Great. The suspense is killing me. Crossed is to be released all the way in November 2011. What a bummer!
