My Thoughts
Being a major fan of Cabot, I just knew I had to grab her latest book. I've read all her YA books and so I was ecstatic to find out she had something new for us in store. Abandon was everything I imagined it to be. It's a retelling of the old story of Persephone and Hades, I never read or heard of it before so reading Abandon wasn’t familiar but I loved it all the same. I devoured this book!
Pierce drowned in the middle of winter but she didn't die. She had a near death experience where she was brought to the Underworld. At first, she won't able to leave because of the mysterious John Hayden. But when she finally did resulting in her moving back to the mother's hometown in Florida she couldn't get rid of him. Though, a part of her wanted him to stay as of her short lived attraction.
Peirce is a weird yet awesome character. I really liked her. I enjoyed watching her unravel her secrets and maturing all the while. She has problems and many times she got me wondering what trouble she gets into next. And, they pretty much always end up in the form of John.
John is not your average guy. I didn't like him much. He seemed arrogant and tardy. He completely contrasts with Peirce's personality. They're two completely different people. So you'll why I was surprised with how he felt towards Pierce. I should have known. It was only until the end that I actually liked him.
The plot was thrilling and fast paced. I especially loved the whole Greek mythology touch to it. Cabot has delivered yet another amazing read. I can't wait to read the next book. So pine worthy!

My Thoughts
High Stakes, (US title as Ninth Key) was just as good as the previous book in the series, Love you to Death, I just couldn't stop reading. In this one, there's murder and mystery. My favourite! Suze has to figure out if a guy, Tad Beaumont (Red) is responsible for a particular murder.
It was great going through the events of Suze and Tad. I wanted to know what was going to happen, there was much suspense and action. I've got to say, it was pretty hilarious when he thought that he was a vampire! And there are definitely more LOL moments!
Though, I was more drawn to the scenes with Suze and Jessie. You know Jessie, the hot ghost that lives in Suze's bedroom. I LOVE him! I just wanted more of them and less of Tad! Their relationship is very personal even though they've just knew each other for around a month. But come on Jesse, kiss her already!
I really love this book! I have no doubt that I'm going to love all the other books that follow. An enjoyable and funny read :)

My Thoughts
Love you to Death, (also called Haunted as US title) is definitely one of my favourite books. Hell, this series is like one of the best. I was entranced! I enjoyed reading every single YA Meg Cabot book there is and so this book was no disappointment.
Suze is strong, sassy and funny as hell. She's a sophomore that has just moved to Carmel because of her mother's re marriage. And she sure is different. She can see ghosts. She can talk to them, feel them and hear them too. But most importantly, she can help them move on. I really liked Suze's gift and how she didn't take advantage of it.
This is where Jessie comes in. The unbelievably hot and smokin ghost that resides in her bedroom. I love him! He's so polite, caring and just hot. What else could a girl want? And whenever he says Querida, you can't help but feel your heart melt. Swoon worthy!
Although the plot isn't very original, its certainly not boring. This catchy first book in the Mediator series is just excellent. Faced paced and easy to read, this is a series that I could easily get addicted too. Highly recommended!

But not everybody at Avalon High is who they appear to be ... not even, as new student Ellie is about to discover, herself. What part does she play in the drama that is unfolding? What if the bizarre chain of events and coincidences she has pieced together means -- as with the court of King Arthur -- tragedy is fast approaching Avalon High? Worst of all, what if there's nothing she can do about it?
After reading, Arthur high king of Britain, I really enjoy reading books revolving around the medieval times. This is where Avalon high comes in. It's one of my favourites and so I really loved reading it.
Will and Ellie are adorable. I just knew that the first time they met; they will need to be together. The fire and intensity is there and its really fun reading the times between them. It's great that what they have is not the love at first sight kind of thing thing but like, 'I've seen you before' kinda thing. Freakishly awesome!
Usually, I’m not a big fan of fighting and killing. But In Avalon High I really enjoyed all the action. There’s like this element of suspense and thrill wanting to know what will happen and how the story will end. Especially the big 'happening' at the end will Marco, the twist in the story was great! And Marco's face? Priceless!
I loved the ending. I like the fact that the book finished in good terms. I was a bit disappointed when I found out there’s only two books in the series. But there's something I can say for definite is that, this is a book that I can read over and over again without feeling not a bit of boredom!

My Thoughts
With this final book in the Airhead trilogy, I have got to say it finished with marvel. I really enjoyed reading it escpecially since the last book, Being Nikki, left me off my feet with a very unexpected finish,
Em's witty and shinning character is so worth reading. As always, I love her attitude towards things, she's kinda badgirl with a great personality nevertheless. As Christopher dashes in as her knight in shinning armour, supposedly rescuing her, Em reveals many things. They turn out to be things that upset Christopher.
It's quite amusing how Christopher feels like he has to be 'needed'. I'm sure it's an abvious trait, wanting someone to need you around sometimes and just for the fun of it. When Em does finally admit that particular factor he goes over the moon. And kisses her. Very cute. But then not so cute when he disregards the entire things. What can I say? Boys will be boys!
There's certaintly alot of action, humour and spark to this book. It finishes off very nicely and all the past events are wrapped up. Meg Cabot writes like magic as always! I love her all her books. A triology that is a must read!

My Thoughts
After reading Airhead, the first book of the Trilogy, I just had to read the next book. I really loved the whole idea of brain transplanting. It's great to see all the bumps and bruises along the way. It was fantastic!
I loved it when Christopher found out Nikki was really Em. That was most definitely my favourite part. It was such a big relief! I couldn't stand seeing him so upset like over Em's death when she was really alive. He's just a amazing and great guy. They really do deserve each other!
I totally adore LuLu and Frida. Their characters are so funny and full of life so I love reading about them. They add humour to the book making it more enjoyable and great to read. Both of them fuss over such little things and are really bubbly and exciting.
When I read the ending of the book I was astonished. The look on Christopher's face when Em said she didn't love him but Brandon was soooooooo sad! I can't believe she did that to Christopher.
A gripping read. Obviously. I am in love with Meg Cabot's books :)

EM WATTS IS GONE.
Emerson Watts didn't even want to go to the new SoHo Stark Megastore grand opening. But someone needed to look out for her sister, Frida, whose crush, British heartthrob Gabriel Luna, would be singing and signing autographs there-along with the newly appointed Face of Stark, teen supermodel sensation Nikki Howard.
How was Em to know that disaster would strike, changing her-and life as she'd known it-forever? One bizarre accident later, and Em Watts, always the tomboy, never the party princess, is no longer herself. Literally.
Now getting her best friend, Christopher, to notice that she's actually a girl is the least of Em's problems.

Meg Cabot has done it again! What else can I possibly say? This is a fantastic start to a trilogy. I absolutely LOVED reading this. I am just amazed by her writing it's just fab fab fab. And that is no exaggeration. It is amazing.
The summary pretty much says it all. With that killer plot it has to be enthralling and yes in real life brain transplanting is not possible (well at least that's what I've heard) but Cabot has given us possibilities and situations that girls would love to be in. Or would they? After reading this books your views may just change!
There is definitely humour and how can there not be? Meg Cabot is just the queen of humour... and with humour there's love obviously. That's what I just love! Christopher! My heart just bleeds for him. so many exciting events happen.
You have just got to pick up this book and read it. Scratch that. Read every book Meg Cabot has written. They're all pieces of art!
Oh and did I mention that Christopher is HOT! HOT HOT HOT!
