Cover Alert: Insurgent by Veronica Roth!

Guys! The INSURGENT cover! *happy dance*
I love both the US covers for Divergent and Insurgent so I was really excited to discover how the UK ones will look!

As soon as I saw the cover, I instantly thought ' The US cover is waaaaaay better' because it is. That's what I think anyways. Not that I don't like this one. I DO! It's really pretty. Especiallyy with all the purple, and I believe that's Tris but anyhow I lover her stance. And look at those burnt leaves, how pretty! Divergent and Insurgent look alike too.

What do you think?

  1. I kind of want the American cover, because then both my copies would look similar (since I've got the other one). I don't want them to look different!!!

  2. I like both editions. I think these covers are more pretty, while the NA covers are more, well, unique. I prefer the American cover too.

  4. A blend of action, mystery, romance, and humor, this second installment of Veronica Roth's soon-to-be trilogy keeps the page turning and leaves the readers thirsty for more. "Insurgent" starts off exactly where "Divergent" leaves off, and as the book progresses, many relationships are tested, and many threats and events challenges Tris Prior, making her a much stronger person. From the simulation of Maylene to the escape of Tris and Four from the Erudite Compound, this book will keep you glued until the very last page, where Roth will abruptly end, leaving you frustated and anticipating for the next and final installment to arrive next year. Some would expect a sophomore slump for this installment, and I can say it right now, it improves much better than the last book with better character development and higher vocabulary uses. Roth knows how to keep the suspense and mystery balanced without overdoing it. And yes, there are many Tris and Four moments here. ;)
In other words, this suspense-filled novel will not disappoint "Divergent" fans, with enough suspense to keep them awake all night, with adrenaline pumping throughout their body while awaiting on the next move our characters are about to make.
