Katarina Bishop and W.W. Hale the fifth were born to lead completely different lives: Kat comes from a long, proud line of lovable criminal masterminds, while Hale is the scion of one of the most seemingly perfect dynasties in the world. If their families have one thing in common, it’s that they both know how to stay under the radar while getting—or stealing—whatever they want.
No matter the risk, the Bishops can always be counted on, but in Hale’s family, all bets are off when money is on the line. When Hale unexpectedly inherits his grandmother’s billion dollar corporation, he quickly learns that there’s no place for Kat and their old heists in his new role. But Kat won’t let him go that easily, especially after she gets tipped off that his grandmother’s will might have been altered in an elaborate con to steal the company’s fortune. So instead of being the heir—this time, Hale might be the mark.
Forced to keep a level head as she and her crew fight for one of their own, Kat comes up with an ambitious and far-reaching plan that only the Bishop family would dare attempt. To pull it off, Kat is prepared to do the impossible, but first, she has to decide if she’s willing to save her boyfriend’s company if it means losing the boy.

My Thoughts
Ally Carter is frickin' awesomeness! I cannot possibly get enough of this author. Perfect Scoundrels was exactly how I thought it would be. I loved how it was different to the other books and it was a pleasure to read. No doubt, it is a perfect addition to the Heist Society series.

Kat has an entirely different mission this time around. Wonderfully enough, it revolves around our Hale! We just cannot get enough of this boy can we? In Perfect Scoundrels we get to see a more about the boy behind the 'name'. How the life of W.W. Hale the fifth really is and no before you ask we still do not find out what his real name is or whatever.

Though, you really forget about that when we're lured into Hales world. I particularly was interested in Hale's grandmother. Its evident that they had a real good relationship and it would have been nice to actually have some moments with them. Not possibly obviously, synopsis check!

As always there's some kind of heist going on. This time, Kat may not have Hale with her but you can see how much she wants to help the boy she loves and how much she cares for him. Like, he is the heist. The problem to solve. And this was just so exciting, it was different and fresh. It was fun figuring out what Kat and the crew (yes they're still there too) would do next. Its so amazing how Carter pieces the story together. Every bit of detail is crucial. It's a wonder how on earth she does it. But, if anyone can get mysteries making and trouble just right its Ally Carter.

Katarina Bishop has worn a lot of labels in her short life: Friend. Niece. Daughter. Thief. But for the last two months she's simply been known as the girl who ran the crew that robbed the greatest museum in the world. That's why Kat isn't surprised when she's asked to steal the infamous Cleopatra Emerald so it can be returned to its rightful owners. There are only three problems. First, the gem hasn't been seen in public in thirty years. Second, since the fall of the Egyptian empire and the suicide of Cleopatra, no one who holds the emerald keeps it for long - and in Kat's world, history almost always repeats itself. But it's the third problem that makes Kat's crew the most nervous, and that is...the emerald is cursed. Kat might be in way over her head, but she's not going down without a fight. After all, she has her best friend -- the gorgeous Hale - and the rest of her crew with her as they chase the Cleopatra around the globe, dodging curses and realising that the same tricks and cons her family has used for centuries are useless for this heist. This time, Kat's going to have to make up her own rules...

My Thoughts
Uncommon Criminals was exactly what I was hoping for in the second book of the Heist Society series! It was just as good as the first book and it just left craving for the next. OMG, I just looooved it so much guys.

Kat is one badass character. She's so one of my favourite literary characters. Ever. When she was on the mission with her crew I was there cheering them on. And when we (I can so see myself pulling off a heist! ) figured it all out oh so very soon into the book, I was like waaaahhhh? But oh no how could I forget that this is Ally Carter's writing? We get a even more suspenseful plot with so many surprising twists and turns and clearly all so very entertaining.

Especially the characters. Guys, the characters! They're so so so awesome with a wave of frickin awesomeness cleverness smartness. Simon is so cool. I kind of had a rough patch with Gabrielle in the beginning but not to worry, she's proved to be a great asset to the team. Err Nick, I could just sense there was something about him. eurgh. It's all about HALE.

Hale. Why oh why couldn't you be more older! I had so much hope,... ha! He's such a nice guy! I love nice guys. Bad boys are so overrated, don't you agree? You can see how much he wants to be there for Kat. He wants to be needed and cares so much for Kat. awwww. It's kinda infuriating at times when their moments come up cause it's all happening really slowly. I love how we get a better picture of Kat's flaws and everything but arghh darn it. Not giving anything else away.

What I will say though, Uncommon Criminals is incredible. Hold on, no... It's safe to say that this entire series is incredible even though I've just read two of the books but you know I have foreseen the other books ahead and i just know they will be just. as. good. I am addicted to this series.
I am addicted to Ally Carters books. I just am.

Part thriller, part love story and part fairy tale, this brilliantly original novel from a bestselling German author will take your breath away...

My Thoughts
Can I just say that Heaven was one of the weirdest yet interesting books I've read. Don't get me wrong. I say weird in the nicest way possible seeing as I have I really enjoyed reading Heaven. It was a fascinating read.

Let's elaborate on the 'weird' shall I? It'll probably be a tinsy winsy bit spoilery but it's only after reading this will I believe you'll really want to just get into it. So this is how it goes, exactly. It's the beginning of the story and there's this guy that's a Hunter. What this hunter does is snatches peoples hearts (WDF right?) and so the victims end up dying, as to be expected. Then there's this girl, Heaven, from which he snatches her heart. Now this is the weird part, the girl that has no heart, get this... she g e t s u p and runs away!

Doesn't that just get you thinking! When I read those lines, I was just sitting there with a WHAT face. I even read that page again in case I missed something? And after that, everything just gets even more interesting. There's another character main character David too. He's like one of those geeky guys you get. Geeky but cute ;)

Heaven continues on to be a great read. It's simply that one hell of a plot that gets you going. That really gets you reading. Hmmmm, what else can I say other that read it. You'll be intrigued. You count on it!

The last thing Cammie Morgan remembers is leaving the Gallagher Academy to protect her friends and family. But when Cammie wakes up in an alpine convent and discovers months have passed, her memory is a black hole. The only traces left of Cammie’s summer vacation are the bruises on her body and dirt under her nails. All she wants is to go home. But even the Gallagher Academy now holds more questions than answers as Cammie and her friends face their most difficult challenge yet. With only their training and a few clues to guide them, the girls go in search of answers on the other side of the world. But the Circle is hot on their trail and will stop at nothing to prevent Cammie from remembering what she did last summer.

PROS and CONS of my insightful thoughts on the latest addition of THE GALLAGHER GIRLS!
( A list made by Mia. Inspired by none other than our Cammie Morgan)

PRO: Out of Sight, Out of Time was definitely worth waiting for. It was just as good as the other books in the series but with a different element to this addition. We are taken on whole new pandemonium, with such rush and adrenaline that we beg for it to be all over.

CON: Gahhh! The agonising wait.  1 YEAR. 11 MOTHS. 29 DAYS. 47 HOURS. 3600 SECONDS. In short, 2 years.

PRO: Mysteries. One big mystery with Cammie. She has no recollection whatsoever of what she has been doing for the past few months. So, basically a blank memory. As always, it's ever so fasinating to see all the strings that are attached and all the things that had gone wrong.

CON: Can Cammie really be trusted anymore? It's no mystery that the mystery in turn will be revealed right at the end. And so the point- waiting comes into mind. As you can see, I am a very impatient person. ;D

PRO: Action. Like, a whole lot more people! I'm talking about guns, explosives and the big shebang! Ally Carter completely upped her game. There's not a single down moment, I tell you. You'd think it'll be boring with the new turn of events and everything but no no no.

CON: I really have no idea whatsoever. (I'm so bad at the CON's)

PRO: Yes. You got it. There's more Zack. Now that I think about it, he's around a large portion of the book. Thankfully, right? We don't get to see much of him in the previous books. Hurrah! Not forgetting to mention, how there is trouble in paradise ;)

CON: A reason why it's bad that there's a lot more Zack? Hmmm. I wonder... (Still in the process of thinking)

PRO: I can't wait to read the next book. Ally Carter has done what she can do the best, leaving us with an extremely big cliffhanger. She sure knows how to make the really small things in the book, become a huge part of the part. Damn. She definitely left me hanging. Now I want more. Just more!

CON: The next book will come after AGES and something more... it is THE LAST BOOK. DID YOU KNOW? Ohwhyohwhyohwhy :'(

The Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women is a fairly typical all-girls school—that is, if every school teaches advanced martial arts in PE, chemistry always consists of the latest in chemical warfare, and everyone breaks CIA codes for extra credit in computer class. So in truth, while the Gallagher Academy might say it's a school for geniuses what they really mean is spies. But what happens when a Gallagher Girl falls for a boy who doesn't have a code name?
Cammie Morgan may be fluent in fourteen languages and capable of killing a man in seven different ways (three of which involve a piece of uncooked spaghetti), but the Gallagher Academy hasn't prepared her for what to do when she meets an ordinary boy who thinks she's an ordinary girl. Sure, she can tap his phone, hack into his computer, and track him through a mall without him ever being the wiser, but can she have a regular relationship with a regular boy who can never know the truth about her? Cammie may be an elite spy in training, but in her sophomore year, she's doing something riskier than ever—she's falling in love.

My Thoughts
I was seriously dying to read this! I wanted to read it real soon but somehow or another I'll pick up another book and completely forget about it. You know those type of books that put you on edge, stun you and completely knock you off your feet... yep you got it I'd tell you I love you, but then I'd have to kill you is just that type of book! How glad I am that I finally read you!

Cammie Morgan may just seem like your typical teenage girl. She attends school, has many friends and falls helplessly in love. But there's more to her than what meets the eye. Attending a school for spies is definitely out of the ordinary. With so many challenging missions, how was Cammie to know stopping herself from falling in love would be the hardest.

A book full of kiss-ass girl spies? Yes. Yes. Yes. This book is amazing! All the characters are really fun. I particularly liked Bex. Just her British ways and how she helped Cammie with her boy problems. Well, these problems are in fact really major in the 'spying world' and so everything unfolds as we get to see how crazy like could get in Gallagher Academy.

I'd tell you I love you, but then I'd have to kill you is oh so perfect! Especially since whilst reading it, it was so easy for me to imagine everything happening. I applaud Carter's writing. And especially the hilarious bits! Just hilarious! They're really small things that the characters over think and analyse that make you really laugh out loud. I LOVE IT.

I'm certain that I will carry on with this series. I can't wait to read Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy! You can't help but adore the titles of the books too! Ally Carter is an author that you simply can't miss. You go Ally Carter!
