A family destroyed. A love threatened. An enemy returns.
Grace Divine made the ultimate sacrifice to cure Daniel Kalbi. She was infected with the werewolf curse while trying to save him, and lost her beloved brother in the process. When Grace receives a haunting phone call from Jude, she knows what she must do. She must become a Hound of Heaven.
Desperate to find Jude, Grace befriends Talbot—a newcomer to town who promises her that he can help her be a hero. But as the two grow closer, the wolf grows in Grace, and her relationship with Daniel is put in danger—in more ways than one.
Unaware of the dark path she is walking, Grace begins to give into the wolf inside of her—not realizing that an enemy has returned and a deadly trap is about to be sprung...
My Thoughts
Okay so I extremely LOVED The Dark Devine, but I didn't love the lost saint just as much. It was really. A great read in fact. But it just didn't top the last one.
It’s mainly because of the relationship between Grace and Daniel. I loved to see how their love will blossom and strengthen and so you don't see that on this book. That may as well be a fab thing seeing as nothing I'm expecting is happening. A pretty unpredictable book which of course is a very good thing.
I must say that the conflict between Grace and Daniel was intense. I didn't think it would play out like it did. They've both made mistakes. And great to see how they work it all out.
The Lost Saint was definitely more action packed. Many things were going on, especially with Grace. She learns so much and we see her character develop. Lots of new creatures were introduced. WOW.
Definitely captivating, this book will get you on your feat. An awesome follow up and I'm eager to read the next book in the series!

Grace Divine, daughter of the local pastor, always knew something terrible happened the night Daniel Kalbi disappeared—the night she found her brother Jude collapsed on the porch, covered in blood—but she has no idea what a truly monstrous secret that night held.
The memories her family has tried to bury resurface when Daniel returns, three years later, and enrolls in Grace and Jude's high school. Despite promising Jude she'll stay away, Grace cannot deny her attraction to Daniel's shocking artistic abilities, his way of getting her to look at the world from new angles, and the strange, hungry, glint in his eyes.
The closer Grace gets to Daniel, the more she jeopardizes her life, as her actions stir resentment in Jude and drive him to embrace the ancient evil Daniel unleashed that horrific night. Grace must discover the truth behind the boys' dark secret...and the cure that can save the ones she loves. But she may have to lay down the ultimate sacrifice to do it—her soul...
My Thoughts
WOW! An awesome debut. When I first saw the cover it wasn't that appealing to me but as started to get into the book I found myself getting tangled into the many events that were occurring.
I just could not put it down. Everything of it was just spectacular- The characters, the writing, the story. I really LOVED it!
The plot was fast and engaging. As Grace gets closer to Daniel, she realises many feelings that are growing towards him. But Jude won't have any of it and that's when the secrets start to get revealed.
I loved how Grace's and Daniel's relationship grew and developed. It was nice to see how they got to know each other better and also bringing in past memories. I love the bad boys. I love DANIEL!
Despain's writing is full of elegance and splendour. I loved how she presented and enlightened this book and werewolves? I did not see that one coming! Great ending. Fantastic debut :)

In Maggie Stiefvater's Shiver, Grace and Sam found each other. Now, in Linger, they must fight to be together. For Grace, this means defying her parents and keeping a very dangerous secret about her own well-being. For Sam, this means grappling with his werewolf past . . . and figuring out a way to survive into the future. Add into the mix a new wolf named Cole, whose own past has the potential to destroy the whole pack. And Isabelle, who already lost her brother to the wolves . . . and is nonetheless drawn to Cole.
My Thoughts
Well what can I say, Shiver was just way beyond my imagination but Linger was nothing I expected. I have waited for this book for so long, and I’m happy to say that no one would be dissatisfied.
Linger takes a step up from Shiver and really works its force, introducing two new first-person narrative voices in addition to Grace and Sam. We've already met Isabel, and now we meet Cole, a new wolf and a complicated jerk creating a motivated four way narrative.
I liked learning more about Isabel, who I think is an appealing character and Cole, is also very captivating. At first the character of Cole is cruel and selfish, and doesn't seem to be anything other than that, but as the book goes on his character develops and is more interesting.
I’m not going to give too much away but Grace and Sam’s love is stronger then ever, the ending is a complete unexpected shock for us and the characters in the story, and leaves you thinking about the book for days after you've finished it. A very good read :D
I so can’t wait for Forever, it’s going to be great!

the cold.My Thoughts
Grace has spent years watching the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf—her wolf—watches back. He feels deeply familiar to her, but she doesn't know why.
the heat.
Sam has lived two lives. As a wolf, he keeps the silent company of the girl he loves. And then, for a short time each year, he is human, never daring to talk to Grace...until now.
the shiver.
For Grace and Sam, love has always been kept at a distance. But once it's spoken, it cannot be denied. Sam must fight to stay human—and Grace must fight to keep him—even if it means taking on the scars of the past, the fragility of the present, and the impossibility of the future...
Shiver lived up to what i was expecting, its a great book and i do think people, mainly teenage girls will love this book if they loved the Twilight series.
For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf—her wolf—is a chilling presence she can't seem to live without. Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human... until the cold makes him shift back again.
Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. It's her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human—or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.
I just loved the main characters of Grace and Sam, following their story and their love, it was just so good to read and at the end I found myself get a little teary.
Its funny how Sam stays with Grace under the same roof as her parents but they don't have a clue he's living upstairs.
This is a different take on werewolf's, this book drew me in from the moment I laid eyes upon it.

By following her heart, she might lose everything including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?
My Thoughts
The main reason i picked up this book because the cover is very alluring. Very mystical. Fortunately, the book was as good as the cover. I totally LOVED it! Andrea Cremer lured me into her world of danger, romance and suspense.
Very page turning. I actually stayed up all night to read it and to find out what happens next. As you can see, I really got into it and the storyline is ah- mazing... werewolf packs that DO NOT stick to the rules.
It is full of action and adventure from the very first page. Calla is the type of heroine I love to read on. She is fierce and really cares about the her loved ones. I love romance novel and boy this love triangle is one to talk about however at times is can be a bit OTT. No doubt, Both of the guys, Ren and Shay are absolute hotties! Its extremely hard to chose which one I like the best as they're both my favourite.
Full of adventure and intrigue, "Nightshade" will have you eager to read more! There are always times when your reading you find something funny and just suddenly laugh outta the blue. That what happens when i read this book. There's humour and it real gave the book more of a sparkle to it. I found myself fully dedicated into the characters. Each character is one of a kind. I cannot wait to see what happens later on! I don't really enjoy cliff hangers but the it's worth the wait!
I recommend this book to all YA and Paranormal fans! I cannot wait for the release of Wolfsbane, the next addition to the Nightshade series :)
